Hi I don't know if this is legal or not ? I hired a SEO guy around 3 years ago as I am a Dog Breeder & put a site up so people could buy puppies from my location - It is still ranked Google page 1 after 3 years - He said he was going to do a little known trick to bring in more traffic - No matter if somebody lives 4000 km away if they type in the top keyword on puppies it comes up as my dog kennel with their location. eg'.It will come up in google xxxx puppy breeder - melbourne or any suburb of Melbourne or any other place yet I am based 4000 km away.?????

Eg. Search anywhere in Australia with the keyword or similar it actually comes back with my name & their location not my location ?? It works in the US as well as he had a few clients there.

I obvious know very little about SEO & he is no longer around so can anyone shed some light on how this was done &if indeed it's legal as I want to add some other websites & seo them the same way? One thing he did say though was that it may be sandboxed by Google - or it will work like crazy which it has!

I've searched the SEO forum as much as I could but nothing seems to refer to this trick or technique!

Before I forget - I am back in the market to add some more sites & need a great SEO person who knows the ropes & keeps it all legal - I have 60 New TLD's to get through as I enjoy buying domain names ! If you are interested Please PM me, Cheers, Renee

    I may have worked it out - I think he put most major cities & suburbs in the keyword section & maybe used about 150 keywords saying xxx puppies servicing the xx area - Is this possible to do as it is a wordpress theme?

    ???? C'mon SEO people someone must know how to enlighten this ? Also looking for a SEO person with honours so to speak - someone that really understands the goggle & bing etc algorithms to work on a project of 60 new websites with fresh TLD's mostly - which all need SEO. PM me If you are the real deal in SEO. I specialize in Sales & Marketing so need to outsource the SEO.

    Hopefully I can hear from some true SEO Guns!!
