Changing your theme can have an SEO impact because some themes are coded better than others.

Some themes (Premium themes) even have sufficient SEO functionality built in that you're able to drop some SEO related plugins.

So if you're considering changing your theme be sure to look for a well coded one or go for a premium theme. This will help to ensure that your site's SEO effectiveness is improved, rather than degraded.

Your URL's will stay the same - they are not theme related.

The reasons for your bounce rate could be many. At one extreme your bounce rate could be high because your articles don't hold any interest for visitors.

The other extreme is that your bounce rate is high because people find your blog as a result of looking for an answer, get the answer they want in full detail, and go off to fix whatever they needed the answer to.

So a high bounce rate is not necessarily a bad thing - it depends on what type of blog you're running.

However, changing your theme is unlikely, in itself, to affect your bounce rate.

The only problem I can see is integrating adsense into the the new theme, does anyone have any experience of this?
