Will creating 10 social media profiles on 10 different social sites in anyway help ranking?

I created 10 profiles on 10 different social media sites. I linked my site on all 10 as well as linked to each of my social media profiles on each social site. I mostly did this just to test the waters. I won't be updating those profiles. Only 1 or 2 of them don't have rel nofollow.

Will doing this help me in anyway as far as ranking goes? I doubt it but I am curious. I know that I won't be getting any traffic really from this method as I won't be updating them or really have any followers so ranking is my concern. Only took 3 hours so if it won't do much it's no real loss. Thanks!

It will have zero impact on your rankings.

10 profile links are not enough for ranking.

No, all the major social networks add rel nofollow to links, so they pass no direct SEO benefit.

If you don't promote your social media profiles there's no benefit, if you do you might attract some direct traffic from Facebook etc...

It's no more important than trying to promote your site here (which also uses rel nofollow), if you can persuade website visitors (Facebook, Twitter etc... are just websites) to click your links, if they own blogs/websites they might link to you.
