    Hey abjaghou

    I actually have seen great results from using a .edu and .gov backlink pointing to a blog post.

    Also, I say that you shouldn't need to purchase that. Nowadays, if you focus on writing good quality content with your keyword strategically placed throughout it, you should have no problems ranking and getting traffic.

    Keep in mind that when putting out content that you must write for REAL people, rather than the search engines.

    Answer questions related to your niche on YahooAnswers and other Q & A sites. Include a link to your blog in the resource box.
    Submit your blog to social bookmarking sites like Digg and StumbleUpon.
    Write and submit articles to article directories like EzineArticles and ArticleDashboard.
    Turn your articles to videos using free video creation services like Animoto, and submit them to video directories such as YouTube and DailyMotion.
    Build a Facebook fan page for your blog.
    Make use of plugins like Tell-a-Friend to let your readers quickly share your posts with their friends and family vie email

    The good thing to know is how an edu or .gov backlink won't hurt your site. As for how much it will help you rank is debatable. And, that's going to depend on a lot of factors including how relevant the page is that is linking to your site. If it's a site about farming, linking to your pet care related page, it might not do much good for you.

    Yeah! i see the some of the above post are reliable and good advice to rank your website in Google ranking, to get rank in google and need to survive as long as a healthy website, you need to follow white hat seo method which means your work on SEO must satisfies the rules and regulations by Google Algorithm.
    Be sure on content which must be unique and high quality.
