Hi, gnr991. I think it would be better if you can use Google to search your answer before asking it here. There are many articles/posts about the differences between dofollow and nofollow links. The easiest way to know whether your links are dofollow or not is to see the page source codes, if there is a tag named "rel=nofollow" then the link(s) is/are no follow, that's it......

the main difference between do follow and no follow link is that do follow link is crawl by the search engine but no follow link in not crawl by the search engine .no follow link is only visible to the user but not the crawler.
many plugins are available on tha google to see no follow or do follow links,.

That is not true at all. They are crawlable. They get crawled all the time.

nofollow is a tag for links to tell search engines not to pass on PageRank, authority, or anchor relevance through the link.

There is no such thing as dofollow.

you can use add-on on firefox called moz toolbar
search for it it's very helpful and full of functions
try it

Dofollow Link is a hyperlink that is able to tell all search engines to pass along it’s page rank influence to an outbound link.

Nofollow Link is exactly the opposite. It is a hyperlink that removes the ability to pass on it’s page rank status to other sites.

if you using mozilla firefox so there is an add-ons (search status) that help you to find dofollow and nofollow link.

Technically, there is nothing like do-follow, but we SEOs just prefer to call any link that is devoid of the nofollow tag a do-follow link.

Do-follow links pass PageRank and link juice while nofollow links don't. This means that do-follow links can increase your search engine rankings but nofollow links can't. That's the difference.

Regardless if its Do-Follow or No-follow it still is a backlink and Google will still give you backlink juice for No-follow backlinks. Not as much as a Do-Follow backlink but will still give you some type of authority over the link. Something is better than nothing.

Dofollow Links or follow links can help you rank in the search engines while because they are the same while Nofollow is not recognize as a backlink by search engines

Example of Nofollow Link:

Dofollow links allow google (all search engines) to follow them and reach our website. Giving us link juice and a backlink. If a webmaster is linking back to you with this link both Search Engine and Humans will be able to follow you. The best way to give someone dofollow love is allowing keyword in the anchor text. This means when you are linking to any website or page, use the targeted keyword as anchor text.
Example of Dofollow Link:
<a href=”http://www.google.com/”>Google</a>
Important Notice:-
Recently Google have said that they will still count the nofollow link as an outgoing link in terms of the distribution of page rank from your page. Though again it also depends on where that nofollow link is places. Placing a nofollow link at the bottom of the page has least impact and when placed at the top of the page, it carries some impact.

Nofollow is an HTML attribute value used to instruct some search engines that a hyperlink should not influence the link target's ranking in the search engine's index. While dofollow is the opposite.

For knowing if the link is dofollow or not, simply get one of those browser SEO plugins. Many of them can detect those stuff.

Both of them are good to have. Dofollow tend to be better of course but keeping a balance and natural profile is what you need to focus on.

A do follow link will pass link juice to your website and thus improve your rankings.. A no follow link basically tells Google not to pass any link juice to the site...

Now that's a big difference... I have found the hard way that some tools end up building a very high percentage of no follow links and that it does nothing for me... and such activities is a waste of time e.g. tiered link building becomes wasted so you need to make sure you do it right for every step of the way... So focus on do follow for sure! Although from a link profile its always good to have a mix so that it looks organic and natural but you'll soon see that you always pick up nofollow overtime...

Fundamentally Google's algo still strongly relies on backlinking as to votes for your website.. What has changed is the details... e.g. amount, velocity, anchor text ratio etc... and of course the bulk of it must be dofollow!

Nofollow html attributes state that you do not allow search engine bots to follow a link or pass link juice i.e page rank to the link’s target page.

Technically there's no such thing as a dofollow html attribute. The absence of a nofollow attribute indicates the link is to be followed.

Do follow' links are crawled by search engine bots and thus they contribute to website backlink building. Nofollow Link is exactly the opposite, 'No follow' links are never crawled by search engine spiders and hence they do not contribute to backlink building.

Look for rel="nofollow" in source code.
