I want to ask a quick question. I got incoming links on my homepage and i want to target few subpages as well using anchor text of those sub pages so if i buy a link to my subpage, will it be counted as backlink to my homepage as well? Or will it increase the PR of both homepage and subpage?

  • It will only increase the pagerank of the page receiving the link, though bear in mind you can link the subpage to the homepage and somewhat share the benefit received.

Well i think so its a good idea to link my homepage on subpage but will it really count it as a backlink because i got PR 3 homepage and PR 0 subpage and if i am linking my subpage on a PR 5 website then will it give benefit to my homepage as i am linking my homepage on subpage as well?

  • Yes, it will help the homepage as well.

    At one point, my sub-page was at PR4 and my home-page was at PR3 but after some time Homepage got to PR4 as well.
  • Yes, it will help you. However, if your home page has good traffic and good PR, then you can place your link of sub page on your homepage that will help you to get more traffic to your sub page.
