    Hi MetallicaFan,

If you're looking for forums about mentalism specifically, try heading to google and searching "forum: mentalism" you can do this for almost any niche.

There are also tonnes of blogs about mentalism and magic, you will need to try searching for "blog: mentalism" to get started...

If you're looking for blogs/forums I'm guessing you're looking to drop a comment and get a link, or insert links into your signature on a forum. Both are fine to start with, but make sure you're leaving value behind rather than just spam.

The forums and blog must contain the keyword "mentalism" to be a quality link? or it can be a general site about magics also?

Well, first of all anything you get from a forum/blog comment probably won't be a "quality" link. If your blog is in the mentalism/magic niche I would recommend getting your links from relevant sites, yes.

A link from a page specific to mentalism, or with related content to the page you are linking to would have the most value in this strategy.

Having your backlinks in content that is relevant to your site is a good practice. However, it is not necessary to have all of your backlinks coming from sites within the same niche as yours. In fact, you can get very good backlinks from sites that are irrelevant to your site's niche, especially if they are on high PR pages. You should focus on building backlinks that are dofollow, on high PR pages, relevant, and contextual.

Better yet. I would focus on not following anyone pushing PR. PageRank has not been updated in almost a year. Also, those selling links based on PR are usually lying. They advertise BS like PR 8 & 9 links, but in reality all they are selling are PR n/a and PR 0 links. They are just trying to prey on those who do not know any better.

Read about Google operators and use them to find sites that accept blog posts man! Best simplest way for the highest quality. Takes a lot of time though.

DO NOT GO with the FREE BACKLINKS BS some dude mentioned up there.

Here is an example of a Google search that will result in hair related blogs that accept guest posts. This assumes that their page will say "write for us" or "write with us" (the asterisk is a wild card). There are many different combinations you can add.

    intitle:"write * us" ~hair OR ~beauty
intitle:"* guest post" ~hair OR ~beauty

    ;-)

    Hope this helps!

Backlinks are the most vital part of Search Engine Optimization. Back links are necessary to Search Engine Optimization but they are not the most important ability. If you do sufficient keyword research study, you don't even require a single backlink.

Understanding where to search for niche markets is the trick to making your first 1000 dollars. When you have this part down, back links can come 2nd.

here are some very bad advices...

    1. never look at PR number... look at the backlink profile!
(I often see PR5 sites with tons of UGG and similar links)

    2. Never go some free backlinks BS route... fact is people are paying a lot of $ for quality backlinks, why you think you can get anything good for free...?

    3. Look for quality over quantity and for relevancy!

Get few quality relevant backlinks and do it like people suggested it to you by site:"search term".

    Also check blogging platforms
