New site has N/A page rank?

Does brand new site has N/A page rank? How much time to get the page rank to 0 ?

I opened a new site yesterday and it's not 24 hours yet. I hosted and implemented a free wordpress theme already. My page rank shows N/A . When will it become 0? I mean when will it get zero page rank?

    What does that mean? I made a site about months back and it got page rank 0 . I am really shocked. So what about new sites? They will never have pagerank and will be in the N/A forever?

      They'll have PageRank. You'll just never know what it is.

    You do have PR. Google tracks the PR. They just don't make it publicly known anymore.

    And PR is really not a significant ranking factor anyhow.

        Yeah. If they are brand new, they have no links pointing at them. PageRank comes from links.

    I change the way i look at my high quality links now, i stopped paying attention to PR months ago!

    When i analyze a potential domain i buy i look at the other factors like Page Rank and DA/domain authority.

    Its natural to have a new website N/A page rank. To attain 0 or 1 page rank we need to wait as google updates it page rank algorithm every quarter..

    if you want some metric to replace PR then you can use Moz DA/PA as well as Majestic CF/TF, PR won't be updated anymore for the public. - Maybe google will ahve some other metric they will create but at the moment thats all there is.

      No they don't. It's been almost a year since the last public PR update, and it was about 7 or 8 months after the previous one.

    You need to provide the XML sitemap of your website to the Google to get index by the search engine. If your website get index then you get PR 0. Then try to post more of quality content for your website this may help you to improve your website SERP and PR.

    You can't expect to get a different PR soon... I don't think they are going to make a PR update soon.

    Personally, I would not worry about the PR for now. Just concentrate on growing your blog with content and in time you'll eventually get a score.

    Just be consistent, keep the content good and Google will more than happy to reward you.

    If you reeaaally want to know PR you could use alternative measurements provided by 3rd party tools like SEOMoz, Majestic SEO, etc.

    To me PR is more useful in comparing your standing with your competition. On it's own it's more like bragging rights.

    It will display PR but you never know when it is going to change your PR and on what parameters. So, if you have a new domain be patient and act as per Google's guidelines. This is the only way to stand out in SERP's now-a-days.

    Until the next pagerank update, if it ever gets updated again. I suggest you focus on better and more accurate metrics like page authority, ahrefs rank, and domain authority. Those are updated regularly and more accurate, although they aren't 100% accurate and can never be.
