Competing against video for first page

Hi everyone,

As we can see videos have more chances to be on first page of Google. Thus, how much more difficult is it to get a good ranking for a website on the first page if the keywords chosen generate a lot of video result.

    Because very few companies do video marketing that's why it has low competition and SEO did by thousand hundred people and its competition as well as high....

        It shouldn't be hard... ONE main advantage of a blog → You can post new content and easily outrank an Youtube video... While a video can NOT do this!

    Videos rank high in less effort, because:

    YouTube is owned by Google (but I can't say any bad things about Google, as Blogger is also owned by Google but it doesn't rank well, compared to YouTube)

    It is the most popular video website.

    An informative video improves bounce rate as people keep watching and waiting to finish, then they check other videos or websites

    So the bounce rate is main point here..

    We know now google use hummingbird search engine system. And it's very difficult system. For this region rank is very difficult. For the rank need white hat work quality work, more and more social media work good quality seo work.

    Really depends on your niche of the video. For example, gaming videos search results you will see majority of the videos on the results. Most other niche don't include videos with the search result unless its low competition.

    You can easily outrank video results if they don't have any strong backlinks pointing to their urls, but there are exceptions. One exception is when the query is a video-oriented query (I.e. a query that triggers lots of video results, such as "Let's be cops 2014 trailer").

    When you see the thumbnail of videos on Google Search, their domain still remains to the video hosting website (Youtube, Dailymotion, Vimeo,etc.). But there are videos that are embedded to blogsites or websites, they show the thumbnail with the domain of the website where they are embedded. I saw a post regarding video schema. What are your thoughts about this?
