Hello,

I've read some threads about Exact Name Domains bringing possible SEO benefits. Well in my current case Exact Name Domain isn't available.

Does going for Name Domain Exact (different word order) make any sense? The website name still makes sense, but will it do anything for SEO or is word ordering everything?

Thank you!

you can try yourkeyword.com or your-keyword.com, dash is permitted. you can also try yourkeyword.net/*.biz etc. but *.com is most suggested.
TO be HONEST even if you stand #1 in Google with your keyword, your keyword won't make you instant money. Online money formula is High search volume+low competitors+COMMERCIAL INTENT keyword = MONEY.

If the EMD isn't available, don't worry about it. The SEO benefit you get from EMD these days is minor.

Best to choose a name that's short and either catchy or at least makes sense.

Exact match domain do have little benefits over other domains, but its your on page and off page activity which makes the difference. So instead of focusing on exact match domain, focus on getting short and unique domain name which can be easily remembered and engage in white hat seo techniques.

EMD domains are more sensitive to penalties for the simple reason that it's harder to brand when your domain name is for example bestrunningshoesformen.com

Easy to over optimize in terms of onpage and especially when building backlinks as your brand name is your domain name (sure you could go for another brand name but that would look a bit weird). Look at all the big site, Amazon.com Ford.com McDonalds.com, they ain't registering besthamburgers.com just to name something.

The domain name does not matter much really as long as you have a decent marketing campaign running along with high quality and unique content.

Exact match domains does not give any great advantage like the old times. Apart from that, you need to focus on building a brand instead of worrying about those minor SEO tactics. Having an elegant short and easy to remember name is much more important than having an exact matched domain.

Speaking of SEO, partial exact matched domains are more powerful than exact match domains. If you can find a short partial exact match that can work as a brand name as well, then by all means go for it.

At last, take good care of your content and rest will fall naturally in place as long as you are following with decent marketing techniques.

    Hope that helps!
