Blogger getting hit, sometime genuine things even get hit, Good bloggers even get penalized and things change within just matter of times.

these all things point to one thing is there any one better than Google or Google only going to be Monopoly in world

    Till now there is no other search engine tops Google. It just get hit atleast one percent with the update.

    I don't think so, who knows before facebook and twitter are going to rule entire web. In the same who knows, we may get another search engine which beats Google. Need to leave it for time

    If your site in your sig is why you're asking about getting Google slapped - it's because it's crap.

    Barely readable English. 3 Ads above the fold.

    Yeah, Google would LOVE to show that site to readers because it's got soooo much value to a searcher.

    How about sitting down and creating a site that looks appealing and gives value to readers instead of just scraping content from someone else, particularly someone else who can't write a BASIC English article for readers?

    Your sites will continue to lag behind in search because they SUCK not because Google is some sort of evil being that looks to harm the little guy.

      Google is the best converting traffic source in the world. Makes it very easy to make money online instead of having to focus on dozens of other sources where the traffic dies out as soon as you stop posting (think of forums, blogs, social platforms, bookmark sites, press releases and what not).

      There are moments I hate Google as well but overall I love them.

      Sure, because Google has good financial status, experience and leading power....

      But Bing and Yahoo shouldn't be ignored....

      These days, I see Bing is improved a lot.....

    Google is the best search engine and its monopoly is only in SERP because it shows more accurate results compare to other search engines. The webmasters who are not interested in serp ranking or their business is not based on serp don't give importance to Google. I think, serp results don't matter for facebook, or twitter sites. These sites get referral or direct traffic.

    And, this is why you must not solely rely on Google for traffic generation as this type of traffic is very fickle. Just think of all the big named sites that have been crushed under Google's foot including Hubpages and eHow, which took years to recover after the Panda update.

      Yes, Combination of total all other search engines traffic are less than google traffic. So if any website get ranking from google it must fill up its targeted traffic.
