Anyone here have thoughts on affiliate programs? I haven't personally done it but a company mentioned it to me when I called them when asking about my marketing strategy.

I feel like affiliate program could be a set up to have links that look bad from Google's angle but I don't know much about it. Amazon seems to be big on affiliates though but they're site is likely safe from Penguin penalties and the like.
