Backlinking Riddle

I have been trying Angela's packets so far, but I am asking your opinions in this thread.

If you head over to Getafreelancer or Elance, you will find tonnes of providers offering 50 PR4 permanent backlinks for 200$ !!! You talk to anyone of them and they mention the links come from non-directory sites and are one-way. This has me stumped. Should I go for such backlinks or stick to what Angela and PJ offer?

How can anyone offer 50xPR4 permanent links at 200$ and how can people continue to be fooled by these providers?

Could anyone care to explain or is this perfectly normal?

  • Yes, I have found a guy in Getafreelancer, actually, he offered me 20 PR4+ dofollow links from Blog comments. All are niche related and worked fine, He just charged me only $100 for this.
  • It could be that he owns all of those websites. There is someone here that does something similar and he owns all websites. You also have to consider the cost of living. To him, $200 for something like that is a whole lot of money. For you, that's just too cheap to be real, but it's still the same $200.

    Wow, $100 for backlinks via blog posts? You can save that $100 and spend 10 minutes doing it yourself.

      Maybe....after you spend the time finding 20 PR 4 niche-related blogs(which is a misnomer....sites and blogs don't have PR, pages do) that allow dofollow comments, and that aren't moderated, or that are guaranteed to approve your posts if they are moderated.

      Plus, it ignores the primary reason for paying for the service in the first place......some people don't want to do it themselves. I know I don't.
  • I have a freelancer from oDesk doing all of Angela's backlinks for me for less than $10. I get a full report afterward. I'll stick with that, it is tested and working fine for me.
  • Okay, but that's why you go ahead and buy Paul's and or Angela's backlink package, then the research is done. You don't have to pay $100 freak'n dollars for that. Go to elance and people can have that done for much cheaper.
