Do you follow a precise process to rank videos? Or is it hit or miss and scoring with gold after making a ton of videos?

I've never really given much thought to YouTube, but I've always looked at it as being different in the sense that those making a full-time income are heavily dependent on their subscribers, popularity and viral potential of their videos, rather than trying to rank highly. At least that's how the people making ridiculous amounts do it.

      This is true.

However if ranking your YouTube videos is something you want to do, then a lot goes into it. Google literally takes everything into consideration, though some things more than others. Everything being, the file name and quality, amount of subscribers you have, length of video, how much the average user watches of the video, comments, thumbs up vs. thumbs down, title, keywords, description, etc etc etc. Literally everything goes into the considerations for ranking.

But especially on page SEO and links elsewhere (embeds more so than backlinks to the URL).

If you do everything right the first time it's actually pretty easy to rank a YouTube.

      Drats,

I just brought videomakerfx with the intention of making tons of videos to rank so promote clickbank offers.

Yeah I mean you could totally do that if you're smart about it.

        See my other post above.

So I made this in like 5 minutes and added a bunch of keywords.

    Should I bump up views?

Get a private blog network service?

    Advice?

  • Make sure that the video file name has your keyword in it. Write a keyword rich SEO article and put it in your description. Get a couple high pr backlinks and you should be good to go.
