What should I do if I only have 10 minutes a day for SEO?

If I only had 10 minutes a day to do SEO, this would add up over time but obviously not be much at a time. What should I do on an ongoing basis that would be the most critical and rewarding?

    • I don't think so, roysrooter. Firstly, many moderators of forums will ban your account if you just want to use their forums to add backlinks for your site. Secondly, if your site only has forum links, it looks unnatural and Google will not like it. Plus, many forums where signature is available are webmaster forums (SEO, Social media discussion, etc), so if your website is not about these topics, then these backlinks are very less effective.

      In my opinions, I think the better way (if you only have 10+ minutes time a day) is to exchange backlinks with other websites in your niche. Try to write an email or two emails a day and send them to the webmasters who you think would probably exchange links with you, that's it! Simple and effective!

  • Nothing to do in 10 minutes for SEO.
    Today's SEO is too much difficult. So you need to sped more times with SEO get a good result. In 10 Minutes, You can't do anything, Even for a single blog comments or forum post, it takes 10 minutes.

    So, what you can do in 10 minutes???
  • Now the day google give many update in seo . so it is very difficult to get ranking and visitor for our website . so you have to spent more and more time for your website to do seo. otherwise you can not get anything like ranking or visitor or traffic and many more ........
  • I would suggest you to work on getting backlinks and also promoting your site.

    There are two things that will really boost up your rankings in the search engines; 1) Backlinks and 2) Social Shares.

    Ask people bluntly to share your content in their social networks. At the same time you could be getting backlinks from blog commenting.

    Spend some time promoting your blog all over too. One good way to drive targeted visitors to your site is from forums. You can spend some time posting in forums.

    • Check all your page titles and meta descriptions. They're the first thing people see before they even get to your site.
    • More content for your site - two or three 10 minute sessions should give you a reasonable length new piece of content
    Off site:
    • Forums
    • Facebook/Twitter/etc
    • Videos - you could record a short video in less than 10 minutes and then upload/optimise it the next 10 minutes
    • Blog commenting (sensibly, not spam)
    Generally:

    • Apply the 80/20 rule with a vengeance so that you're being as productive as possible in the time available.

    • This is exactly what I would do. Also hire someone to help you. Can be little things such as iWriter or something on Fiverr...specifically for content generation. You can spend 10 minutes a day and maybe $25 a week on decent content to build out a lot of pages fairly quickly...though speed isn't as important as consistency. Google loves consistency.

    You should buy newspaper ads because your not ranking anything competitive (traffic) on Google SERPs at 10 min per day.
  • Check a couple of your main competitor's backlinks. It will give you some ideas of where to get your own. Then email the site owner and try to either get a link, or tell them that you have something better to offer and maybe you can steal one from them.

  • Obviously, you cannot really do much SEO in just 10 minutes, but I think the most that you can do is Social Media. You can use your time to schedule posts throughout the day. You can make use of 3rd party tools like hootsuite and bufferapp.

  • The most critical rewarding thing you could do on an ongoing basis?

    Buy a book about doing successful SEO and try to read a couple of pages a day.

    You shouldn't get to far into it before you realize that allocating 10 minutes a day to an SEO project is a waste of time. And after that? Who knows?

  • I am being struggling in SEO for couple months while SEO experts has many years ahead. I think 10 minutes a day has almost nothing on getting improvement in SEO unless you have a good automated tools to do your routine SEO works but it can be lead to spam works.

    I am personally take 2-3 hours a day to improve SEO,but when I am sure that my SEO is going on the right way I am ready to quit job and do SEO 10 hours a day.
  • you have 10 min in a day then you do nothing, but you expend 30min then you work on link building because link bulding is good way to rank of the website in SERP.
  • Hire a few key specialists, one for on-site SEO, one for forum posts, one for blog posts and a social media manager/sharer.
    This doesn't have to be daily stuff. Find a suitable amount daily and see how the website grows.
    Make sure your blog and forum posters understand not to spam crap for your anchor text and that they focus on at least a few content/industry specific blogs/forums.

    Do nothing and call one time a week with your SEO agents for 60 minutes.

    • One word: outsourcing. You can get a lot of work done by outsourcing work to people from countries who are willing to work for a tenth of the cost since their living costs are much less.
  • Just do one or two forum posts a day and maybe one or two guest blog comments. Thats all you have to do really.

    Just make sure you post on high PR forums and blogs which are relevant to your niche.
  • You have to give more time to SEO to get better results. If you will not take it seriously than you will not get expected results. You can do forums or social sharing in fb and twitter.

    Well, I would say if you have 10minutes daily for SEO then you can move forward with dedicating that time over the forums as getting a back link from forums is one of the best way to gain quality traffic.

    As i consider you can use Black Hat SEO tricks to get on the top just in 10 minutes.
    If you will ask about white hat SEO in 10 minutes then stop kidding and be serious.
    Every SEO here on this forum is working many hours to rank his website high on specific keywords and i can say in 10 minutes you will have to work more than all of them.
  • If I may assume that your on page factors are all okay, then again 10 minutes is hardly enough for any SEO work. However, you may do social postings on Facebook or Twitter but that is actually Social Media Optimizing (SMO - part of SEO). You may however post articles but that too assuming that your articles are ready written.

    posting guest articles in other's blogs with links to your site bye likes on facebook and post

  • 10 minutes a day doesn't give you much time. I am a big believer in high quality original and value based content. Either write it yourself (preferred but time consuming) or hire a good writer at iWriter.

    Its difficult now because google updating can hite your site.So be aware with google panda,pigeon,peacock,thunderbird. Please spend more time on seo regarding blogs,forums,web 2.0,blog commenting.

  • Hire somebody to write articles for you. Post it to social media & post on the forum at least once a day

    That's easy, spend the time deciding which other things you do in a day you can stop doing so you can devote a reasonable amount of time to one of the largest traffic sources online.

  • After being in the business for sometime...10 minutes a day isn't going to do anything short term. With this strategy your going to start making a difference after a few years. Get some more time together or hire someone to get the work done.

  • You can do two things within this time.

    First: You can hire someone for doing this work : 5 minutes.
    Second: You can read our SEO book for how to increase traffic in your website : 5 minute.
    Why you read it. Because you can suggest concept your worker for how to do better.

  • Only 10 min is not sufficient for doing any SEO so i think & i suggest you to increase your time but if you can not increase your time then make routine on day basis like today you have to made back-link & tomorrow will do keywords recherche like that next day will update your content but again i tell you 10 min is very very little time for seo.
