What if you buy links if guest posts from high authority sites, something like pr more than 7 and alexa less than 1000. I had offers for these for about $300? I can pay these money, but I've seen many sites with links from these authority sites that do not rank well.Is this good for Google? Or they can just penalize you because they know that these are paid links.

Your wasting your time, especially with that in house Alexa generated data nonsense. Whatever your reading that involves Alexa, never go back there again.

Use that money to either buy strong quality same niche links (domain in the same niche, not just backlink page) or buy your own domain with an existing quality backlink profile.

Do you feel the same way about Alexa's traffic numbers, even as a (very) rough estimate? There is no SEO value in their numbers sure, but traffic estimates can be useful when considering buying local blogs for traffic for instance.

It's still an illusion. Obviously sites ranked at the top of Alexa are some of the highest traffic sites on the net but most aren't focused on any niche.

I know for a fact my sites generate a lot of laser targeted traffic, I know 2 of my competition also get a lot of traffic, we've all chatted via email several times. I even partnered up with one of my competition selling him traffic for a 20% commission (I've seen his sites analytics).

Anyways, none of our sites have decent positions on Alexa because none of us target traffic that cares about Amazon/Alexa plugins/scripts. Our sites are very sub-niche, focused on a single product.

If your going to buy traffic look for laser targeted leads 1st, then worry about traffic volume 2nd. I would rather have 10 laser targeted leads than 1,000 social window shoppers.

it sounds like you just don't get enough traffic.

Laser targeted niche sites get what? 10-20 hits a day or something like that typically? When start moving over a thousand people a day to your site you start getting a low position in Alexa.

I have several sites at all levels of traffic that I have weighed against Alexa. my big volume sites gets rankings from 90K to 300+K in alexa. My small sites (2-300 UVs/day and less) are at about 10 million + in alexa.

At the very least, Alexa can tell if a site is moving traffic or not.

I just mean that these are one of the most known sites. For example mashable and so on. I got some offers to buy links from these premium sites for about $300.

Is it a guaranteed followed link, will the link stick for years?

I would still pass on a mashable link for $300, use that money on a same/similar niche that generates targeted traffic & SEO (link) for years.

Mashable traffic will spike when the page goes live then traffic will drop like a brick. Still not niche enough for me, it's more like Facebook traffic (window shoppers).

Yes, dofollow link in on topic article. And not advertorial/sponsored articles.

But what will Google say about it?

They know that there are many paid links that looks that way ... I have offers for similar quality sites and about this price. I can pay, but the problem is what will Google do? Will I increase my ranking, will they understand this is paid link and penalize me. How to make sure Google won't understand this is not paid link.

Recently I've bough several premium quality links, nothing happen. My site is about position 10 for its main keywords, 100% white hat optimization.

I've seen many sites, having links from premium sites and absolutely no ranking...

I don't care about the traffic. I buy it for seo.

Don't buy it. $300 is too much to pay for a link in a new article and from a new url regardless of the authority of the domain. The only situation where I would pay that much for a link is if the link would be placed on the homepage of the authority site. You can achieve more acquiring links from cheaper sources.

You mean your article to be linked from the home page?

If you buy link to be placed on home page, this definitely will be considered as paid.

Yes, it is high price, but from authority site.

Can you explain what do you mean by "junk" ?

Dofollow links, in "guest posts", from the most authority links for Google algorithm? Let's say links with alexa less then 100, not less than 1000?

And what is the difference between "natural" high quality links from the same sites ...

Sorry, but I do not understand what is the difference between making quality site and other people link you, instead of just buying links from the same sites.

Any seo experts here , to help me?

High authority sites help you to rank you rapidly. so create high page rank backlinks from high authority sites to like apple, amazon, microsoft etc.
