I need help regarding some SEO strategy that need to be implemented to my website

http://goo.gl/AiOgu1 . My website is a leading live chat product, daily it receives around 2000 unique visitors.

Initially the website was impacted by manual link penalty, I cleaned up lot of backlinks, the website revoked from the penalty some where around June'14. Most of the secondary and longtail Keywords started ranking in Google, but unfortunately, it do not rank well for the primary keywords like (live chat, live chat software, helpdesk etc). Since I have done lot of onsite changes and even revamped the content but till now I dont find any improvement.

I am unable to understand where I have got structed.
can anyone help me out?

If you have touched the onsite after saving the site from Google penalty that could be responsible.

Have you tried tweaking the onsite for the main keywords, determine the present competition of the terms and also running top quality offsite campaign?

I would have love to preview the site but currently on my iPhone.

How can you expect it to rank like it did after removing 'lots' of backlinks?

Those backlinks were the reason why your site ranked high for your primary keywords. Now that they're gone, you have to build links to your site so it can regain the link juice it lost. On-page optimisation won't help you.

You need to make sure the ON-PAGE SEO is solid. The ON-PAGE SEO is what directs Google and tells them the keywords you are focusing on. You also have to give it some time and since you had a penalty applied you might have to wait longer (IF YOU'VE BEEN FLAGGED BY GOOGLE).

The question I have is: What are you doing as a link building strategy? It's only been around 4 months since you cleaned up the website. Much has even changed with Google in regards to how they determine the quality of a website. What worked before doesn't really work anymore.

A lot of emphasis is put on quality content and relevance so looking at your blog you have pretty basic content. Again, what is your SEO campaign and link building strategy?

Can you give us more information on what you've done with link building and SEO? It can be difficult to answer these questions without it.
