Looking hire a company for backlink building !

I own beachandbeyondcarpetcare.com a carpet cleaning site in Virginia Beach Va, among other sites, I need some help with my rankings ! Preferably some consulting or just some detailed friendly advice.

1. 49 Page WordPress site. Installed yoast. All pages SEO correct .
2 .Site is responsive.
3. No Webmasters Issues besides 404 pages that were deleted over time .
4. LOTS of social site bookmarks and directory submissions.
5. 58 / 100 Desktop Speed Test
6. 43 / 100 Mobile Speed Test
7. Google Places Verified In 2 Cities.
8. Site is 5 Years Old .
9. Last Month Analytic (Sessions) 316 (Session Duration) 2:58 BR 69%
10.LOTS of internal linking.
11. High Volume And Niche Keywords . Rankings from 2 page on !!!
12.SEO Spreadsheet

I believe my problem could possibly backlinks, I am really not sure though !

Any help would greatly appreciated !

    Here is some free advice to get you started...

    Why the ads in the footer? Get rid of those.

    You also have ads in the sidebar. I have an ad popping up to click and get a free quote on carpet cleaning. You are going to lose customers to competitors that way.

    It looks like at the end of most of your pages you have

    Local SEO is heavily based around creating citations for your business. Make sure the site is in all the popular directories... Yelp, iBegin, Foursquare, BrownBook, Yellowpages.com, Manta, MerchantCircle, etc.

      Yea it is just adsence , just trying to generate extra income but it is not doing much, I am still learning local citations, I have a account with all that you mention but besides that and using there paid service for showing up in the top of there directories for searches I am not sure what to do from there ? Mike

        Are you verified with Google+ for Business? (or whatever name they are using for it this week)

    Keep in mind you need to convert that traffic into sales.

    Way too many distractions on the Home page. I imagine that Home page has a very low conversion/contact rate.
    • Make the header logo smaller & float to the top/left of the page.
    • Remove the HUGE slider.
    • Add a right sidebar & have a mini contact form above the fold on every single page of the site. The goal is for potential clients to contact you, make it happen, put the contact form in their face (keep it professional looking).
    • Remove the comment section from your blog pages. If they want to leave a message they can use the contact form. Stay organized so you don't lose a potential sale (ex: overlooking a moderated comment on the WP Admin.).
    • Do like Mike said & remove all traces of Adsense, local ads & political ads are notorious for paying pennies. You'll make far more money from a single carpet cleaning job, even If it's one extra job per month. Local Adsense ads are the exact reason I stopped using Adsense altogether, the payout is way lower than global same niche ads.

    These things listed above won't rank pages but there's no point in doing SEO when there's no call-to-action happening on the site.

    can you specifiy which ranking you aim for? if you aim at local search, then you don't need backlinks, you need citations.

    if you want generic search result boost, that is to say, natural search? what is the keywords you aim at? what is your purpose and goal for this project? if you could be more specific, you might get better results since it's easier for others to help you.
