If a link is nofollowed, it doesn't matter where it's placed on. Besides, reddit is an authority website so even if it was a dofollow link, it wouldn't harm your site.

It`s true, but your message - the URL you want to share must has a viral potential, otherwise its waste of time, you will notice a flood of traffic but you got nothing in return.

I don't have much success with Reddit. It can help you drive decent traffic, but I didn't sell anything or have a profit from those visitors... Not really sure why...

Yeah, I put up an article to reddit and it has been getting some visitors. I'm not sure if it helps in the bigger picture. I guess maybe if someone likes it and links the site that could help, also if anyone is curious to look more around the site. I guess time will tell if it helps anything.

I think its safe to get traffic from any source which is co dependent dont just rely on one source that might hurt the ranking.

Reddit is good for getting traffic like any other social site. You must have many followers for getting good traffic which is safe and helpful for increase in ranking as well.

Yes, links from Reddit is no follow and yes, it is safe to put your links there. Reddit is one of the best there is in providing relevant traffic to your website. Just make sure to always read the rules they've set each subreddit and abide with it. Also interact with other redditors and answer questions.

Reddit links are good and all dofollow.
Only problem is that you have to wait for some minutes before posting a new link.

It is safe to post a link on reddit, but you have to be careful that your content must be relevant to the sub reddit other wise their moderators will ban you. Also you might see some big bounce rate from reddit if the article is not worthy for reddit users.
