Hi , i have created a new post in my blog about back to top HTML arrow buttons , it makes easier to navigate on the blog but it`s good or bad for seo ?
The code:

<a href='#' rel='nofollow' title='Back to Top'><img height='20' src='the url of the image' style='border:0;' width='20'/></a>

I have set the link NOFOLLOW , so i think it`s not affecting my SEO but i am not sure , please help

      One element on a page is not going to impact your S.E.O. at all.

  • No it's not going to affect your SEO at all, and there's no need to make a No Follow link out of it.
  • first off, dont use single quotes, that's not the right format, double quotes is what you need to use, single quotes is used in php to echo out the format if the echo command is already in double quotes.

    and no, it wont hurt your seo rankings. and your anchor tag is wrong to jump from bottom of page to top.
