I have seen with my own experience that micro niche blogs perform better than content farm blogs or sites. Micro niche sites work better in terms of targeted traffic, CPC, CTR and revenue.

Please do share your own suggestions about micro niche sites. My Micro niche site is CydiaApple.

    In terms of earnings I agree with you, as long as you send targeted traffic on them.

      In my experience Micro Niche Sites are dumb. I've been down that road before when it was all the rage, but you always run into the same problems:

      1)Small Potatoes: There's not much money in micro niche blogs, that's why they're micro lol. I think my top earner brought in about $250/month on a regular basis. Not exactly on your way to the Dot.Com lifestyle with that...

      2)You Think They're Scalable, But They're Not...: "Hey!" you might be thinking, "$250/month is pretty good, build 40 of those sites and you're making $10,000/month!!" but it doesn't work like that, not really. I used to go through approx. 5 duds before hitting a MNS that made anything over $150/month (mind you, I was still new to the IM world at the time). So to make 40 sites at $250/month, you actually need to build 200 sites to account for your busts. Can you manage 200 sites per month? Realistically? Probably not. And forget about outsourcing, because that just chews deeper into your profits.

      3) Mo Sites, Mo Problems: Let's assume you're able to manage 200 sites on your own, without any help. You can't be using the best practices to get that site ranked, and the content couldn't be the best in the world... So, you're going to hit with an algorithm update at some point. And yes, if it affects one, it's going to affect them all. That's a TON of work to get out of the sandbox. So what next? Start the process all over again, or give up and move on...

      4) 200 eggs, 1 tiny basket: How will you monetize these sites? CPA isn't a good option because the offers change too fast, affiliate offers are good, but require a lot of man management in some niches. Adsense is your best bet, but what if you get banned? BOOM! Broke overnight... The risk assessment for monetizing the sites is scary enough to keep me well away from this business strategy ever again.

      5) What works with MNS sites:Sell 'em! Oh yes, nothing sells faster than a well made MNS with some Google love thoroughly attached. 4-Figure sales are common for these little guys, and as long as you have verified Google Analytics and Verified Adsense earnings (assuming you're using adsense) then you can get some MAJOR Flippa love and the bids will give you a nice payday.

    Well of course its going to be better. You are lazer targeted certain keywords. So the traffic you are getting is exactly the type you need.

    Yeah, micro niche sites are better than content farms, but authority niche sites are better than both of them. That said, I've been building niche sites since I started affiliate marketing and they are surely easy to build and make money from, that's why I keep building them.
