    Social media like facebook/twitter. Try some classified ads. Write a press release and submit it to some free PR websites.

    Articles will do as well as document sharing and video submission.
    Invest on those, it will help you increase your organic search.
    If you want to easily market your site then social networking sites will do too.

    Hi, press release are a great way to increase exposure and gain traffic. Also, articles are great. You can put articles on distribution sites where blog owners will come along and put them on their own sites. You can also write articles and approach sites direct. On top of this, videos are a great idea.

    If you regularly updating your site, stumbleupon will send huge traffic if you hit what other people want to see.
    From time to time one of my site is getting an average of 100 UV - 10K UV from stumbleupon. But the traffic is not consistent, it always depend on what topic you post and who share and like your share.

    Online marketing off course e.g email marketing, social networks, seo etc. You do all of the plethora of marketing activities, measure the results then double down on what's working for you.
