Hello Warriors,

I have a question about keyword targeting and Keyword positioning.

For an instance, for the article that I am about to write how should I target the keyword? And position it? So that my website or webpage ranks in Google for it?

Right now, I am just writing articles using the same keyword, how ever I see that none of my articles are ever ranking for it.....

I need your help in it.

Use your keyword in your title and don't use your same keyword in different articles. Use LSI keywords or keyword phrases and target them. Once they are ranked use your main keywords. Interlink your posts with different keywords to get benefit.

Keyword positioning is how close you put your keywords in an article. Use it effectively.

I would request you to check my site http://www.gameforumer.com/, and help me to know if targeting is relevant, as I have no idea about it.

Hi Amit, i think its better to start a new thread to post your query because asking a question on other thread may confuse the thread readers as well as thread creator.

how ever, do you check the results of that keywords ranking for your site on Google SERP?

You need to learn keyword research. Once you do, pick different keywords for different articles and place them in your alt tag, title, first sentence, and several times within the body of the article.

Try to use different but similar keywords. you know things related to your website to drive traffic for different queries.

are you using a keyword tool to judge the keywords? You should be using keywords that have low competition. Also try to keep updating your website regularly because Google loves to see new content.

If you're making a page to target "cup of tea," try changing up a word "cup" to its synonyms, like 'bowl', 'chalice', 'wine bowl' , 'beaker, 'pan'. You can also use the names of specific words that relate to "cup of tea" like "tea time" and "tea service." Plus you can use plurals and acronyms. By using this tactic, you get a chance to rank for those similar keywords, which relate to your original one. That works if you got good traffic volume though. There's a bunch of tools for keyword generation you can use
