The best plugins are the ones that allow you to manipulate the header, footer and apply your own custom PHP / Javascript... The flexibility that this offers with a little programming knowledge is awesome... That said the best plugins in my opinion are security related... Limit login and stealth logon being some one of them...

With regards to SEO plugins - most are rubbish...!!! On-page SEO should be done manually wrt title, meta description etc... On page SEO is easy but it requires more than a plugin to do it properly...

For example take the Yoast SEO plugin - whilst I like it -- I ignore trying to get the green light indicator's for keyword optimization... Why? As it makes no sense applying the same keyword in the url, title, description and body of article - basically its TELLING YOU to keyword stuff in order to get a bloody green light lol....

Is there a Panda lurking near by??? Its a pile of S*** when you see it that way.... Type in that damn keyword over and over again lol and all over the place.... and you'll see.... Its too obvious to the G algo - hence its better to have variations of the keyword in those places - so I choose to use it the way I want to.... and not the way that leaves a potential slap by the G... ;-)

  • What do you think about ALL IN ONE SEO plugin for wordpress?

For the browser I like the Moz toolbar because it gives DA/PA values right in the SERPS.

I also use Aaron Wall's SEOBook toolbar (great stuff in there) but he isn't going to make a version for Chrome because he doesn't think it is safe to use SEO tools through a Google owned browser. (I've recently started migrating to Chrome because it is noticeably faster than Firefox.)

For Wordpress I've been using Yoast and haven't had a problem. I used to use the ALL IN ONE SEO plugin. It too is solid.

    Note:
This list outlines some popular plugin choices for WordPress SEO, but don’t get carried away and install each one. Every plugin adds additional code to your site which ultimately slows it down, so use a minimalist approach when it comes to adding plugins. In fact, you should test the performance of any new plugins you add with P3 – the Plugin Performance Profiler – to ensure it’s not slowing down your site too much.

    Hello!
I search a wordpress SEO plugin. I think I saw it on Warriorforum, but I don't remember the name of topic.
The SEO plugin was a Wordpress post-tags plugin. It can rotate the tags of the posts, and I remember a picture: in the SERP the website (using the plugin) get more top positions: Top1. and 2. positions because of the plugin.
Any idea the seo plugins name?
    Thanks...
