Google Webmaster

In Google Webmaster, you should submit your website two times.
1. With "www" (example: www.yoursite.com)
2. Without "www" (example: yoursite.com)
This is the right way, as google and other search engines thinks that these two can have separate owners. And yes really it is.

Do you agree with it?

  • Hi,

It's simple to do it and not rocket science. I would suggest doing it too. However, not sure if it makes a difference as I've done both numerous times and it shows the EXACT same information on both.
  • no i didn't agree ....
  • I think Google treat them as separate website.
I mostly do backlinks on my site without www, when I check my www. site in Webmaster, it didn't show any backlinks to it.
However in Search Queries, both show that exact same information.

    • That means you are using both, with and without www. Man, you are doing it wrong. redirect it to just one and build backlink for that. Else Google will treat it 2 different webpages with same content. That clearly means you are doing duplicacy.
  • No i don't agree with you how can u submit same website two time in webmaster.

In Google Webmaster we need not submit both we should submit either of your website consume www. or www you should submit one of these.
