There's a site with a page rank rank of 2 that is related to my site. They are a company who's products I carry and seems they may be possible to get on. Would they worth getting on ?

Thanks

What's the worst that could happen, targeted direct traffic?

BTW, PR is at page level.

Need more information to answer this:

How related is this site to your site?
Forget the PR of this site (Google has said they're probably never going to update PR again. It's an outdated measure) what's the Domain Authority of the site?
What kind of link would you get? Contextual? In a guest post? In a directory? On some internal page that's noindexed and low quality?

All this will weigh on how worthwhile it is for you to spend time attaining a link like this.

Domain authority - 30 They rank for some of my top keywords as they are a reputable company in this niche field. The link would be on a page that is a list of resources about the field they're in.

They rank for your target keywords? Then a link from them would be weighed very heavily. I would certainly try to obtain this link. Good luck!

A relevant link on an authority site is always worth getting, so go ahead.

PR or not, relevant or not, any page is worth getting on
      if it's a legit link.

That said, the type of page you describe is not IMHO a
legit link. It's looks like a link scheme. In 1997, we used
to call those "friends" pages. The page would be highly
discounted, if not ignored completely. Even if they did
not blatantly ask for a link back.

Traffic is another matter. I don't ever remember visiting
any link on any page like that. Stranger things have happened.
