If you keep abreast of Google's algorithm changes and perform SEO tests regularly, you won't need anyone to tell you what's new. That said, here are some:

- New websites no longer rank as fast as they used to
- Spammy backlinks are becoming less and less effective by the day

Nothing much has changed though. It's still a content and backlinks affair

So just work manually and take an eye high PR 's ...
