Hello all,

I am looking for a warrior with testimonials that will do SEO on a site in male enhancement niche. Can anyone suggest someone? Thanks in advance.

I suggest you view threads by members offering link building services in the WSO section and send them a PM regarding the service you seek.

We already have one member here in that niche.

He very mean so we cannot suggest SEO services.

I am mean, but if you are intending on trying to buy links (or "SEO") to do well in my space... well there's actually more incentive for me to encourage you to do that then not...

After you screw up your domains and get tired of the niche, shoot me a PM. I may buy any that aren't totally destroyed.

I know. They don't make pumps small enough for me yet.

I guess I can stop being a dickhead for a moment.

OP - if you want to get into this space then there are some things you are going to need to know right off the bat.

Forget most short tail keywords unless you are heavily invested. One of my main sites is a 16 year old PR6 with a tsunami of great links and even it has trouble competing with Wikiedpia, Time, etc since Google changing the weighting of this space about 2 years ago. Buying this domain on the open market would probably be well over $1,500-$2,500 based on links alone, not to mention that brandability of the domain itself so... unless you are ready to get in deep right from the start, focus on long tail searches.

Link building is basically doesn't exist in this space. I mean, it does in a way if you position your content and authoritative voice correctly, but you aren't going to find many guest posting opportunities in the niche or things along those lines. Honestly, my advice here would be to do as little selling as possible and sound controversial with your content in the hopes that you can then gain credibility as a critical author on the topic and not an affiliate. If you can position your site in that light, you might get lucky enough to grab some links from places where other contributors are trying to disprove male enhancement and cite your material as a source for their argument.

Any links you build beyond that will have to be owned. I have a network of domains that I use, all purposed a bit differently of course, that are active sites and serve their communities uniquely but really are only in place to generate links for me. So get comfortable with the fact that you are going to need to own your links and all that comes with doing that properly.

On-page SEO will be pretty critical to your site, so pay a lot of attention to site structure, where links are going to/coming from and the anchor text used with them. Over optimization is very easily accidentally done in this niche so be alert about what you are generating.

In addition, try to silo your content somewhat. It doesn't have to be a Yukon-style uber silo, but try to keep associated materials collected tightly and eliminate PR leaking where possible. For instance, I use wordpress and avoid tags all together as they are just one more link. I also don't double-navigate the primary site. The only navigation is on the navigation menu and the sidebar(s) serve entirely different purposes.

This one might sound a bit odd, but do utilize social channels. I don't want to give away which ones I focus on but there are two social channels out there that deliver between 200-700 hits a day like clockwork. So do some testing and see what you find.

Lastly, keep your site focused. Try to avoid distracting pictures of naked chicks, etc. In fact - avoid girls altogether if you can.

    Two reasons:
    - Buyers identify with images of what they want to be. Girls that want to be fit are inspired by pictures of girls that are fit, not of a hunky guy that thinks they would be hot. So put yourself in the mindset of what an insecure man who wants a bigger organ might want to visualize himself as and use that as your target customer avatar and portray those images.

    - There's going to be a lot of gay traffic. Don't gross them out and turn them away with pictures of half naked girls. Whether your user is gay or straight, they both want the same thing which is to be the powerful, sexually desirable male who gets the attention. Make sure that's your focus.

    Buying Links:
Maybe there are guys that have a lot of luck with this in this space but because it's one of those 'Spammy Niches' that Google likes to lump into the Payday Algo update, most forms of bought links really won't work unless you can get into some PBN's that are exclusively adult.

However, even then I would be really cautious. It will be pricey and insecure. Just... own your links. If that's too much work for you then this isn't the niche for you to focus on for SEO.

That having been said, there are some other ways to buy links for this space - but at that point, why don't I just give you my whole network. You've got to earn some of this on your own partner.

      Small world (pun intended).

My first sites were adult and I sold penis pumps etc... still got boxes of electro stimulation stuff we never sold
      Code:
      bdsm-lingerie.com/bdsm-lingerie-shop.html?target=dept_134.html
(no longer a working shop, had the shopping cart disabled for over 10 years).

Learned SEO on an adult shop that was built using a cart (Shopfactory) that had everything in iframes, couldn't have been more anti-SEO had the shop software developer tried.

Worst part about it was returns! Funniest return was a butterfly vibrator that was 'broken', the customer had ran the batteries flat in under 24 hours :-)

That's weird, not trying to turn the link clickable, seems adding a dynamic URL (with a ? mark) is adding rel="nofollow" even though I'd removed the http and www bit of the URL.

There is just something wrong about those phrases being so close to each other especially with the second sentence.
