dublicated content problem

Hello everybody,
I had a blog in the past that was hit by google pinguin and after i failed to recover from the update i decided to shut down the blog... but.
I saved a copy of the articles on my PC...

Now i am going to start another blog and i want to upload the same articles again. the question is : can i do this or it will become a duplicated content?? because most of the articles were syndicated via the blog feed to many rss feed directories.

what i think i should do is to use a plagiarism check tool like copyscape and publish only the articles that pass the test, but this is what i think and i am not sure if this is the right thing to do or not and i do not want to publish a duplicated content on my new blog.

so what do you think i should do??

thanks.

Yea you can check plagarism check to see whether the blogs are still indexed in search engines database. I would like to know how and why you got penalized in the first place. This answer is the key to your next step. If i were you i will not stat a new blog with old articles.

      Thanks
I am still not sure but i think the main reason was the over optimization for the anchor text.So why do you think it's not a good idea to put old articles even if they pass copyscape test?

Please if you want to start a new blog, have your visitors at heart and mind. Create unique, appealing, and ever-green content that your visitors will love. Do not try to game the search engines by creating content for them - they will not benefit from it. They will only index it.

So, DO NOT upload old post again.

Check your site from what penalty is suffering from and you can try to solve those problem to recover from google penalty. Most common penalty is Google Panda and Google Penguin or manual penality.

Well, I don't think you should be doing that because you post those blog post over the web I am sure there are 90% chances that the content may have got copied and once you remove that blog the serps have de index your site and now the legitimate owner of that content is the person copied your content and if you put that content over you your blog you will likely suffer another penalty because Google will see that you have copied the content from the other person ! So better option would be first checking it out before updating !

Don't repeat the same procedure crate a new blog so that you achieve more new traffic .unless you start the blog with same content then it remains as spam.

As you know content is the King, so try not to copy any content rather do some para-phrasing and post it on your new blog.

If your articles are not indexed on google, you can publish them as they would be treated as new.

well in my point of view! You should check each article one line with "" on Google search ! If Google show you result (of your article) than it means, Your old content is still catch by Google & if Google shows no result than go ahead to use content with your article.

First make sure, that any of your blog post should not appear on web. And, In my opinion, Instead of posting the old contents as it is, try re-writing the articles and do some changes and update it.

Rewrite the content and post them in the blog. Check the content it is indexed or not, if not take those content and rewrite them and add to the blog. I think this may not shown as duplicate content.

If you think your content will be useful for users and they will read it. But before that check the content duplicate issue. If your content is unique, you can post that in your blog.

If your first blog was shut down, then those articles/pages should be gone from Google search. So what would the harm be in republishing your own articles on your website? You own those articles. That is your property. Also, republishing or syndication is not what duplicate content is about anyway. It's not like you will have two or more copies of the same content on your upcoming site.

Rewrite your old articles, then run them through a plagiarism checker. You should aim for 70-80% original content. If it's lower than that, check what the problem areas are and retool those sections.

Run each article through Copyscape to see if it shows up on Google or Yahoo. If it does do not use it. If it does not read it and make sure it is updated as though you wrote it today. Then post it.

So, you plagiarized yourself? Not possible.

If you cannot tell if you have plagiarized content on your site,
then you my friend, are a complete clown(sic).

Last week I couldn't even spell webmaster....and now I is one!

The rest of these people(sic) here have no clue as to what plagiarism is.

And the beat goes on...even on Christmas Eve!

The lot of you are in for a lot of coal in your google stockings Christmas morning.
