2015 seo tactics

Hi all

2014 for me has been a year of no seo... just very natural lazy seo and its been ok. I have slept well at night knowing that i spend the best chance in not getting the crap kicked out of my sites by google.

However, 2015 i need to get back 2012 and get sites ranked quicker and i want to be back to what i use to be doing...

What has changed what are you doing?

    You need to know that SEO is not and never a quick mode of getting traffic. It takes time and patience and also based on the keywords you are targeting.

    If you want to have the best of SEO 2015 these are what you must know.

    Get more of relevant links
    Keep the OBL low where necessary
    Don't hammer your site with an outright spammy links
    Get links from high PR sites
    Use only 100% unique content

    I have few tips, it will surely help to improve your ranking in 2015.

    1. Google may increase strength of the SSL ranking factor
    2. Number of pages will be a prominent ranking factor (Try to maintain a blog inside your website)
    3. Check the website content and update the outdated content. Also try to include multimedia content. Limit OBL to 2-3 per page. Video embedding can improve quality.
    4. Avoid bulk linking. Focus on quality.
    5. Anchor text links will die very soon. Build links with your brand name.

      Ranking a site takes much longer these days so be prepared for that.

      Avoid links at pages with tons of other irrelevant links, this is a big one since Penguin 3.0 so no more

      - bookmarks
      - web directories where links are visible on the same page
      - blog comments obviously
      - old fashioned PBN's

      How this method affects the rankings in 2015? Kindly can you explain this.

      Do you know that anchor text links serves as a guide to the users to know more about the content.

    Keep doing what you were doing (slow and natural). If you want to go back to ranking sites quickly, you have to be prepared to use blackhat techniques and face the consequences when your site gets hit by an algorithm update or manual penalty.

      You got the entirely wrong message from these posts. Some of which were NOT saying same old same old. I'd suggest your read up a bit on Panda and especially Penguin updates

      Theres no way its the same old same old to rank in Google unless you are in some VERY weak serps.
