Keywords and website page titles

H guys,

I have a question about keywords.
I have a site that I submitted to bing and google.
But my site as other pages that have keywords as the title, so for example, my site is called warriorforum.com but my other page is warriorforum/com/whatiswarriorforum

So do I have to submit those other pages (whatiswarriorforum) separately?

I ask because my site is on page 2 Bing for main keyword but not for other keywords even though it was specifically set up for the other keywords and not the main title..

Hope I've made it clear as I confused myself!

  • You dont need to submit sites to search engines. Are you surprised?
But yeh it helps if your keyword is in the title tag and 2-3 other words.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Just a couple of things
    1. You don't have to "submit your site" though you could create a sitemaps.xml of your site and upload it to Google Webmaster Tools or Bing Webmaster Tools whenever you add some pages. There are plugins for almost all cms to create updated sitemaps so you don't have to do it manually.
    2. If you are creating Urls, try to separate words with "-" or google won't understand they're different keywords.

    • Completely lost me there.
      Creating URL's?
Haven't I already got these within my web site?

Also, why aren't my other pages listed if I don't need to submit?
Just don't really understand this part

  • You don't have to resubmit your site when you add new pages. Add a site map (XML) to the site that will index the new pages as you create them. The bots will crawl the site map and index your new pages.

    • I used wordpress for my site.
Does this create a sitemap automatically?
  • Hello mikeb222,

Unfortunately the latest algo changes do not always provide for automatic indexing of your new pages...sometimes it takes awhile longer now.

If you want your new pages to be guaranteed to be automatically indexed, I use a service to ensure just that - It's called Instant Indexer....just Google it.

Make sure that each page (with strong/unique content of course) is optimized for only ONE keyword and you'll find rankings beginning to occur if they've been indexed.

    Much Success To You!
  • No need to submit sites to search engines, just link to each of your pages and you will be fine.

The keywords are like armour to site, which are well used in meta title, alt tags. From then google come to know about your site and start crawling accordingly.
  • No compelling reason to submit search engines, simply connection to each of your pages and you will be fine.
  • dont need to submit for Separate pages , Once submit your home page , Its enough for google catching your local listing links
