Go figure. They don't want you spamming up their site with your junk. Who would have guessed?

I'm sure others had the bright idea to spam a backlink on Answers before you came along. And, for this reason, the site admins have made it so that links are not clickable.

The good news for you is that a link might not need to be clickable to be relevant. I heard of one situation where a site owner was penalized by Google Adsense for an adult spam backlink placed on his site, that was not clickable. Apparently, Google can read links even if they are not clickable. As for whether or not the non-clickable link will help your SEO, likely not. But, who can say. Maybe it would help your traffic in some way?

Because any website do not want to go into spam due to any link.
