Is there a tool I can download that can tell me how many people are visiting my site and which keywords they are using (not adwords)
from google or all the search engines.

  • google analytics give you accurate traffic data
  • Google analytics is nice, though i prefer to just install and host piwik analitics on my own webserver.. i dont want to give all my info just to google call me paranoid ^^

    • sounds like you need to sign up with google analytics best of all its free......

    You can use Statcounter. The basic service is free (upto 500 records). You install their html code on your webpage and then you get all kinds of stats (visitor country, IP address, browser, screen resolution, cam efrom, keywords, which search engine, etc, etc). IMHO it is invaluable to get insights into your traffic.

    • Yeah - try Statcounter. It is a great tool.

      Easier to use than Google and faster as well.
