How long to see results of your work?

This question can vary for different factors of course like type of site oyou have, competition, etc... Anyway - for something you have a chance in and you're on page 2-4 how long you think it can get to get higher rankings. Let's say you even get some interested reporters in your site and start getting occasional authority links/mentions and improving the site regularly.

When you think you see results of your work? Weeks, months, etc?

Thanks

If this is the case and the competition is not tough it may take month or two. But it always depends on other factors like your competition, your onpage SEO, your content, and other source of back links. But if those reporters/media links are from site like new york times, cbc, cnn, national geography, discovery, and bbc then they are winners.

Since there are so many variables, my estimation is 'up to 6 months'. In other words, expect the site to start ranking well within 6 months or slighty more than 6 months if the competition is very high.
