Hi,

I have recently seen a lot of blogs post other peoples infographics, providing a link to their site - is this technically allowed?

Thanks, let's discuss.

    Hey There,

I highly doubt they care, but reach out to them. If you want to add a little spice to it. Before the infographic add some of your valuable input and then put some short key points to the infographic. Then from there allow other users to tweet it out which then bring backlinks to your website.

    Thanks,

    Chris

One of the reasons why some people produce infographics is to get other people to display the infographic with a link back to their site.

It will just depend on the site owner or infograhic creator as to whether or not this practice is acceptable. If the person has explicitly stated on their website that it's OK to repost the infographic, then it's likely safe to do so as long as you provide a backlink.

Most would be glad if you republished their infographic with a link back to their site. That's the reason why they are created in the first place - to attract links.
