Too many spam comments

Hello everyone

I have a site with youtube videos and lyrics.

This is my site Youtube Music Video

I have a problem with lots of comments are comming to my site everyday.

I think 300 comments for a day. Most of the comments are spam. I'm using Yoast SEO plugin.

But i'm getting 10 - 15 visitors a day (small amount)

Where is this comments come from. How do i block these comments?

    Use Askimet plugin to stop spam comment. It is a Paid plugin and does provide free license for personal use. You can also use captcha code in your comment, registration forms to prevent spam comments.

      Just install the plugin, Akismet

      You will get rid of those spam comments..

      It is free, and requires registration to get they code.. thats it.

    Just moderate comments so that all comments have to be approved before being posted.

    Or, use the Facebook comment plug in that allows someone to post a comment if they are logged in to their Facebook account.

    This should curb spam comments.

      The problem is when your site is bombard by auto comment software. It's hard to moderate 200-1000 comments a day.

        For this fool, it doesn't matter.

        Not only are you breaking youtube tos, which is a violation of
        adsense, you also have adult content which is also a violation.

        Complete BS site deserves a complete BS spam comment meltdown.

        Beware what you post in the WF. People might bite you in the @$$.

        You deserve everything you get.

    For 300 comments a day, I'm guessing all of them are spam and the ones you think that aren't spam are people testing your comments system to see if it gets auto-approved or not.

    Just out of curiosity, what are you hoping to achieve with this site? That people will search for something like "song title youtube video" on Google, not notice the video links to YouTube at the top, click on your site, then click on an Adsense ad?

    If it is, this isn't worth your time or risking your Google account (including Adsense).

      Visitors can watch the video with Lyrics.

      If visitor need download there are links in right side top
      you know what i mean.

    Turn off comments or better yet remove any trace of HTML comment code from your site.

    If you need comments on your own site use the Facebook iframe. Done.

    Log into wordpress dashboard and head over to Appearance>>editor>>comments.php

    open "comments.php" and trash the entire script. That will prevent people from accessing the comment box as well. The wp comment box is picked up by scrapers, thus resulting you in receiving a lot of spam. There are better comment platforms.

    However, feel free to use Akismet.
