Backlinks 4 PR4 website

I bought a PR4 website that had tons of backlinks and just let it sit. Now it has 0 backlinks 0 Domain Authority, etc it only has 2 pages and the PR4 is the only thing going 4 it.
What is the best easy way to add new backlinks without immediately triggering a re-index (probably smashing the PR4?) so I can add new content? Will a re-index affect the PR4? thanks

  • If there are no backlinks, there is no PR 4. It doesn't matter what the Toolbar PR tells you. That is not real-time data.
  • Whether it's indexed or not has nothing to do with what PR it has. If it lost all its links, you're better off just leaving it be and moving on.
