LinkAloha Shut Down - Seeking Alternative Automated Tools

We have subscribed to Link Aloha for several years and quite frankly over the past year it didn't seem as nearly effective as when we first joined. They seem to have gone out of business (Link Aloha Site is down). We checked Wayback Machine Internet Archive and on Dec 20th, 2014 their homepage was updated with the following;

"LinkALoha Is Shutting Down Soon. You can sill use the system as is, without support or any guarantees."

Does anyone know what happened to them? More importantly, we are looking for a replacement service where we can target some keywords in an automated, “set & forget” type of manner. All suggestions are welcome from services you have experience with.

Thank you all in advance!

    Unfortunately, no one creates services similar to link aloha anymore unless on forums, so I'd advise you to look in the WSO section. If you can't find any, focus on PBN links. PBN links are the best links you can buy. Web 2.0 links just don't cut it anymore.

    Never used Aloha. If it's just web 2.0's, few pbn links and social bookmarks etc, then check out The Hoth.

    Just got back from a #BrightonSEO. I was given room 404 in the hotel I stayed at. Couldn’t find it anywhere!

      You kidding me, 30 citations and links at 15 photo sites for $149,-

      Or some vague 3 top level properties, 7 web2.0's some other spam and 50 private blog network posts, likely at ALN or the like as you can't expect anything decent at that rate of $60 for the whole package, probably can get the same pyramid at Fiverr for 2-3 gigs or $10-$15

    Well, there are a number of alternatives available like ahrefs, webmeup etc... you can try using that too ! I have been using ahrefs from quite a while and I would say it's a good tool to study about yourself as well as your competitors too.... !

    Thank you all for your comments. Keep them coming as this is very useful. We are not SEO experts at all which is why we were using LinkAloha. Our goal is to provide SEO for our own site and continue to support simply Local and Regional rankings for a handful of clients. White label services are fine as long as the costs make sense where we can still profit and our clients aren't overpaying.

      Link Aloha sucks, all spam, be glad they shut down so you don't hurt your clients even more with those crappy links.

        I've seen both your replies and appreciate your input but I'm looking for positive feedback and suggestions, not really negative comments about stuff we don't use.

        Do you have recommendations on something that fits our need?

          To put it real blunt I can only recommend myself or some more offline focused SEO agencies that charge $500+/month.

          I don't know a single link seller on this or other IM forums that offers a quality service at a low rate. The only reason why I'm able to do that is cause I invest $700+ upfront in domains for each client, which is a poor business model for myself as it limits my growth significantly.

          The alternative is to setup your own PBN of course but if you go that route I would really dive into the auctions yourself as what's being sold here by so called brokers is less then desirable as it's all or in the best case mostly based on very weakish dropped domains.

    I'm surprised they managed to "last" as long as they did given the fact that they had been advertising significantly on BHW for a long time.
