Hi all,
i'm starting a blog/magazine for my web site.
I already have users who use my site regularly and the blog is more for info, new and other content.
I've decided to go with wordpress instead of writing a blog framework from scratch.
Since i saw so many plugins and advice regarding seo with WP, i really want to have a basic 'Where-to-start' list.
what plugins should i install?
what should i do/ not do before starting to actually add content?

thanks

For me, the ones I use for every new site are:

Yoast SEO - optimizing on-site SEO
SumoMe - Free list building plugins from app sumo
WP Total Cache - loads cached pages and makes your site ridiculously fast.

I personally use Yoast SEO and Total Cache plugins for all my sites. Yoast SEO has been helpful for me in terms of suggesting all the SEO factors in order to optimize the content.

Apart from this plugin setting up the correct permalink and doing some on page SEO before writing any content would help
