When I asked about keyword research; I was told about google keyword planner.

I didn't know I had to create an adwords account. I do not want to run adwords; I am just trying to get targeted traffic perhaps by SEO or the FREE METHOD to attract clicks to my adsense website. I have no physical products I am selling; the traffic is all about clicks to my ads on my website.

Any other options besides google keyword planner?

  • Google adwords is the simplest tool for keywords research.you can see many tutorials in YouTube for use this .

    Off course u can use google adwords for the purpose of keyword research....
  • You don't have to put money on the adwords account to use the keyword planner. I don't use adwords but I use the keyword planner all the time. Its worth checking out.
  • You can sign up for an Adwords account with your gmail email and you don't need to run ads to use keyword planner. Just login to your adwords account and you can use the tool.

  • You need adwords account to use keyword planner. But u don't have to enter payment method or run ads .

  • It's good if you're a newbie. But you shouldn't rely too much on Google's KW search volume. I find them to be quite off in some cases.
    You can also try Bing's keyword tool or Long tail pro.
