Hello webmasters,

I want to know that still link wheels are using for the seo or not ?
If using then can be beneficial ?

    Hi Yavan,

    A friend of mine did it for years. He built & controlled all sites included within a big and topic related link wheel.

    He had grown a big business with this technique, working good for around 8 years. However, since 2012/2013 this method had caused him multiple penalties (automated & manual ones).

    Nearly all of the involved sites were affected at once. After he lost around 50-60% of all rankings & traffic overnight.

    Then there was the need to remove and fix all single affected links & URLs. That can be multiple thousands and long long work.

    After this, time and a new technique to recover rankings again was needed for new success.

    This has teached, that the times are over, in wich this technique can be easily applied.

    If you go for it, better think really sharp not to make any mistakes. Asking up-to-date experts with proof or having a solid plan for multiple years to come in best.
