If your website is fluctuating alot, then it must be in Google dance position, i assume the site is new, or you have recently started getting links, the fluctuation process is normal, and your ranking will get stable, when Google dance will be completed on your site.

It could be just the Google results dancing around a little bit before it settles. If it just started happening in the past couple of days, I would wait just a few more days to see where it settles. I don't think there's any need to panic yet if your website was ranking in a certain position for a while.

However, if your website doesn't come back to its normal ranking, there are a gazillion things to look at but you can start with these basics:

      • How old is your domain/website?
If your website is under six months old, you're probably going to have many fluctuations in Google's search engine rankings, and Google will dance on you, in general. However, there are so many other variables to take into consideration, like...

      • How many articles do you have posted?
If you have less than 25 useful posts after a year and other websites in your niche (or chosen keyword) have more content, they might gain higher rankings than your website. Keep building out your website with not just good content, but epic content!

      • How often do you update your website with new content? If you haven't updated in a while, that may be a problem now or in the future.

This all depends on how old your website is, how much content it already has, etc.
For example, I have several websites that are over a year old with just 20 or so articles that are ranking high on Google and I only update these sites with 1 article every other month! At least I'm consistent! That's probably why they continue ranking well.

      • Do you have any low quality backlinks to your site? That one's a huge problem for many people these days. Go into your analytics, find these low quality backlinks and disavow them ASAP.

The bottom line is although there are many basics we know about how Google ranks websites, this search engine leads the world in unpredictability. This is one of the reasons I don't depend on just one big authority site; Google slaps the heck out of those, too! Then, you're left with nothing.

Your site is new and that's why it's not ranking steadily. Keep adding content and building links gradually. That's all you can do. With time, your site will settle in a good position.

My site is quite new so it may be for that reason as you said guys. That may be a good reason. But the traffic don't fluctuate, hardly 100 less or more per day. The niche i have chosen was really low competitive. Ok then i will continue the off-page optimization. But for some keywords the result is stable. By the way thanks for the help guys.
