Hey Guys,

Any advice on how to improve the google local search results? I'm not sure if it's based on the users IP location but would be good to understand if theres anyway to improve the ranking and apper as close to A as possible.

Have you claimed your Google Places for Business page? This is a HUGE factor when it comes to improving your local rankings with Google.

  Yep verified, what I have noticed is that the others who rank above me have a different icon to me, almost like a store icon or something, where as i am a little red icon..
  
  I was maybe assuming Google is weighting the rank in favour of these businesses as they are represented as stores?
