    Hello Yavan,
Removing backlinks can be a daunting task. Here are two suggestion from my side. Adopt any one according your convenience...
    Option 1 -
Step One : Download suggest list low quality back-links from ahref
Step Two : Contact webmasters manually and request them to remove links for your website

    Option 2 -
Another option is " Prepare disavow file containing a list of low quality links and submit it to google webmaster.

    I hope it will help
    Thanks

There is no fixed duration or time to process a request. It may take one-two months or even more. Google webmaster never deletes those links, which you have sent for consideration. So, don't worry about those links.

Just get the complete detail of that backlink, then visit the source and after that delete that link if the option is available or you can also contact the admin of that source to remove that link manually

Anywhere from a few weeks to never. There is no guarantee that they will ever discount the links.

For the OP, the most effective way to get rid of unwanted links is to contact the site owners and ask for them to remove them. The Disavow Tool should be your last resort.

Spam spam and more spam up in this thread. Go figure? Spam bots galore.

The disavow tool is a waste of your time. If you want the links to be removed you will need to contact site owners and work with them to get it removed.

People suggesting the disavow in this thread are either spambots (which is clear in this thread) or have never used the tool to recover from any type of penalty.

Well, the best way to do that is first reaching their Webmasters out and if they deny in removing them better to use the Disavow tool over the Google Webmaster Tools. Other than this I don't think that there is anything much needs to be done ! Also if you are like need faster results and can investing something over it then you can always purchase form a number of option available over the market place but I will suggest you taking the longer route to remove all the bad backlinks instead of using some tools ! And the rest of the things I would say I'll leave this one over to you make choices ... Hope this helps you out in getting rid of the poison links !

Above, some peoples are mentioned about Google webmaster "disavow tools" - This is an advanced feature and should only be used with caution. If used incorrectly, this feature can potentially harm your site's performance in Google's search results.

Here I wish to share one more information that On January 2015, Google's John Mueller said low quality back links or penguin penalty could be removed by simply building good links. (i.e, Percentage of good links versus bad links). If we build better links algorithm will be favorable and which would lead to recovery.

Using the Google WMT Disavow Tool doesn't "remove" the links...

It simply tells Google to not count it as part of your backlinks.

Good luck with removing low quality links. For less than $100, a competitor can get more than a million crap backlinks to your site. I stumbled across an ad for such a "service" just yesterday. Have fun contacting the webmasters of a million sites to request backlink removal. Or even trying to find all of them. Or getting anything done if you could find and contact them.

My recommendation is to stop depending on Google for anything important (doing so is just setting yourself up to get screwed), and quit worrying about SEO. "Free" search engine traffic is getting to be ridiculously expensive, and paid traffic can be MUCH cheaper and more effective.

SEO has become a fool's game unless you are willing to play it at a very high level. I quit playing that game quite a while ago, and I'm currently doing much better than I was when I was worrying about search engine traffic.

CelticFidler nailed it. SEO is costly and ineffective at low and medium levels of engagement. Paid content only gets you page rank up it seems. The bad links suck, what does it matter anyway. In a 6 month span, I went from 13M to 3M in alexa rank going from 0 to 140 backlinks, but saw no increase in Google page rank. The competitor backlinking to bads site is a problem, but once again, who cares. Go with cpc as you most cost effective advertising!!!

I really couldn't disagree more with those people expressing to give up on SEO. My company makes mid-six figures a year solely from our SEO rankings. Our SEO budget is nearly non-existent the past few years. Sure we paid a bit to get up there to start but it's been smooth sailing since.

People telling you to go elsewhere probably just want you to waste your money. Getting greased on Adwords or highly competitive advertising channels is just brutal.

Try making money in an industry with $10 cpc's!

Hello, You can remove your backlinks easily. If you posted backlinks in forums then you can edit/delet post. And Blogs also have options to delet posts. So first of all when you start backlink posting try to collect the links of that site, So that you can delete them any time.

    Thank You.

Contact the webmasters. It'd be good. Disavow tool works only in bringing down your ranking when you mistakenly submit some high quality links. It fails when you try to do the apposite by removing low quality links.
