Video marketing builds Targeted Visitors & Traffic too steadily

I've been involved in Video marketing for quite sometime & thought of sharing some experience.

In our experiences we've uploaded Professional quality videos with our website link & text titles explaining our website to below sites

Youtube,Metacafe,Viddler,Yahoo videos,Myspace Videos,PhotoBucket,Dailymotion,Sclipo,VSocial,Veoh

Of all these the Sites which gave maximum traffic are listed in the order of importance

Metacafe
Youtube
Viddler
Dailymotion

above 4 sites gave a lot more video views than the rest.

Metacafe specifically for one of our video gave more than 400 views within 7 days. Thats incredible. We uploaded video once written description, keyword tags & we got 400 views. The traffic will be less compared to views. We got may be 40 visitors from those 400 views. But if you have your video on more than 10 sites & have several videos explaining your service or product or product launch - then video marketing can prove very strong.

We posted a video about wedding gowns, wedding dresses it got alltogether 400+ views from all sites uploaded in 10 days.

We posted a video about free tattoo it got more than 300 video views from all sites in 10 days.

There was a particular niche we dont want to disclose for which we got more than 500 views within 10 days which is really big

I will update more about my future experiences too.

Wanted to update few more things. We are also experimenting combining social bookmarking with video submissions. what we are doing is creating a video for our website clients , upload it to 10 video social sites like youtube, dailymotion, metacafe etc.
Then the 10 links which we get after uploading to video sharing sites we will bookmark on sites like digg, delicious, jumptags & several more.

So we will have bookmarks bringing backlinks to videos.
We also ping the links where videos are uploaded to make google index them faster.

We will keep you posted how this experiment went through.

I post videos on YouTube and then pay 1 cent per click to list them in the "sponsored videos" section. I only have to spend a few dollars and the videos begin to roll into the traffic on their own without needing to pay for each view. I then stop the campaign and let the video continue to take off using the momentum of the paid clicks to start the ball rolling.

You can actually use a free site/tool called tubemogul to submit your videos to most if not all of the major video sharing sites in just a few clicks which is such a time saver instead of doing it manually!

I had one video that was on YouTube and wasn't generating much attention at all, mostly because the search in YouTube had my video way, way down the list for my keywords. A few days after I posted it I made it a sponsored video at 1 cent per click (it integrates directly into Adwords, BTW) and then my video showed up at the top of the page for a search on my keywords. Within two or three days I'd paid for about $25.00 in clicks and discovered that thanks to the number of views and ratings my video had moved up in YouTube to the #2 spot overall for my keywords.

Naturally, I dropped the PPC campaign and the video continued to roll on its own, having built momentum, and collected another 20,000 views on its own without the PPC over the next couple of weeks, and converting into about 300 clicks onto my offer from the video profile and about 7 sales.

Thanks for sharing more cool info Steven.

Can you share some more details like from your experience Video brings more sales conversion than PPC?
SO how much you actually spent for Video sponsored posts before the sales started happening. If you dont mind can you shares what is the price point of your product or service which got sales from this kind of traffic.

So youtube has better sales conversion than PPC traffic service - can we have more people sharing their experiences on this. This may change a lot of mindsets.

I agree Tubemogul saves time but I'm using much better services which have their own advantages. I believe video marketing can give much better results if we focus on the sites which are bringing in more traffic than uploading to 100 video social sites.Thats just my experience.

    Thanks for the info.

How have you found the conversion rate from Video?

Making videos takes a fair bit of work, so you would want it to convert well.

One of the greatest benefits of web video is that it can be played "on-demand". the video resides on your server or at a video portal and anyone interested can view it anytime he/she wants. That is why web video is becoming the new age marketing vehicle for marketers around the globe and you must give it a try, without any hesitation.
