  • No new methods. Pretty much the same methods that existed in 2014, and a good number of them still work. That said, many no longer work because Google is fast devaluing mainstream blackhat tactics.

  • Guys thanks for comments but according to Search Engine Journal the old seo techniques may or may not work this year because of search engine updates. So instead of wasting our time on directory submission what other things we can do? Like Guest Posting, Articles, etc.

For example try to go for Business Local listings if your website is related to any service that you provide locally as it will help building clients from locals. Social bookmarks are used only to push your links like reddit, digg, folkd and many other sites so they are still relevant, however you should not overdo only 20 sbm links are better.

      To build backlinks the best method is to build Internal links with high quality content and also buy external backlinks via Guest post or say guest blogging. Content Backlink promotion is the latest method to gain ranking and backlinks fast. If you promote content with links then its valuable only if its relevant to your industry.   • Well my friend. Whether its 2015 or 2020 basics of SEO will always remains same. Post fresh content daily to get new links. Their quality depends on popularity of your brand along-with popularity of the websites you are targeting too. Engage more people, build stong networks then share your work with them, release press releases.

  • My personal observation is Blog commenting can't help you in ranking of your website. As its very difficult to get anchor text backlinks through blog commenting.

    Use blog commenting to build relationship and establish yourself as a thought leader.

  • As we all know Content is the king, so for a better response you should have attractive content. After the content, here comes the off-page part. So for sharing your blogs you can do following activities:

  • I've been using a social media sharing plugin for WordPress that allows you to get shares for sharing as well and have been having pretty good results with it so far. Just checked it a little bit ago & had 84 likes on Facebook in just a couple weeks

  • Guest posting, forum posting on other blogs, forums are enough to build great backlinks. Guest posting will go very high, but still you can build links with forum posting.

    Make your link profile as diverse as possible (that's why nofollow links are good, they bring diversity). It should be diverse in link types (follow/nofollow), methods (guest post, signature links from comments, banner ads, text ads, etc) and anchor texts.

    • I agree, but while commenting we cant use signature link(anchor text), No body will approve comments which are having brand name or any keyword.

  • Ok most people might give you the advice like an employee who does all the work. The truth is you want to outsource that work and stay focused on sales and development. If you own your own business stop being the employee! It's nice to have the freedom to do what ever you want and not have to spend so much time on doing the labor.

    • I would not. Most providers just push a button on their spam tool of choice.

      However, outsourcing is a good idea. Just don't expect it to be cheap.
