Good day all...

A couple of quick questions:

(1) Do WYSIWYG web designed sites offer as good SEO as HTML or WP sites?

(2) Are there different aproaches to obtain optimum SEO on WYSIWYG designed sites as opposed HTML or WP sites?

Thanks.

Impossible to answer considering there's a bazillion ways to create HTML.

One example, the last time I looked at an Artisteer built WP theme is was bloated with a bunch of unnecessary code.

Well comparisons can be relative, I am exploring the graphical freedom offered by some WYSIWYG programs. A bit of help would be much appreciated...

In WP and other CMS based systems you dont have use the wysiwyg... I don't use them personally and prefer the standard text editor and write in html, javascript straight of the bat.... BTW you can always create your own page/post templates with adding your own server side code in PHP as well Javascript and hence using CMS based system will save a ton of time and is easier to maintain... From a SEO perspective - the editor does not make a difference, what does is how you implement SEO with your understanding of what are on page and off page factors....
