Two Categories for One post.Is it ok?

Hi Guys,

Please guide me that can i use two categories for one post?Will it effect SEO for that post.
Please also guide can i use the same words for meta keywords and tags or tags should be different from keywords.
Sometimes i am targeting 6 and 7 meta keywords and use the same in tags.Is it ok?

    You should use canonical tag for the same link otherwise Google may consider this as duplicate page and it may push you backward....

    +1 to canonical tags so you don't get duplicate content issues.

    Either use the 'canonical tag' or set 'noindex' to category pages. That will be good in case of using 1+ categories for the same post.

    and you have two relevant categories:

    Nikon
    Camera Tips

    Pick one category, no point in creating unnecessary redundancy for SEO & traffic.

    If it's an eCommerce store where one product might have different variations (color, size, etc...) that's a whole other situation compared to a typical site/blog. In that case buy some Tylenol because eCommerce structures are a headache.
