Are infographics worth it?

Hi,

Is it really worth investing into an infographic design? The hardest part is promoting the infographic.

Anyone had any successful results? They are pretty expensive..

    It's worth investing in the content and data that makes up an infographic. But for an infographic design I recommend using something like Piktochart

    Yeah great infographics can drive huge amount of traffic to your site and also give you a descent amount of high quality backlinks.

    Yes it requires huge investment at first but it definitely has a high ROI.

    Submit your infographics to infographic submission sites or better yet logon to fiverr and pay only 5 bucks for it to be submitted.

    Infographic submission sites are a good route to go for promotion, however it's also extremely profitable to contact bloggers within your niche. If you can get one of them to host your infographic you can get tonnes of new traffic.

    Also, using a compelling thumbnail from the infographic for when you post it on social media is highly recommended, since this can really help to generate discussions and get shares/retweets.

    Hi.. I don't use infographic but I know a lot of people that do this, depend on the site you are trying to get traffic from. I know that infographic work great with Pinterest traffic and know that increase the traffic to the same blog post that is only content (according to other people's experience).. Anyway I think is more engaging than only cold text as videos as well.

    Everything makes sense if you can do it well and think out of the box. And sharing content whether its in pure form(as an article, bog post) or as an infographic surely gives the boost. As per its promotion is concerned, you can post an Infographic on your blog, social media, pinterest or there are websites where you can submit them. You can also make a slideshow, or make a pdf with content and infographic.

    It depends what is being used for and how you are going to market. Infographics provide a fun and interesting way to promote yourself without seeming like you are promoting yourself. And you can actually get pretty good infographic providers on fiverr

    Your question is however somewhat vague and needs more information in terms of what you are using it for. But I would generally say yes because people generally prefer something visual and fun over plain boring red and black text.
