What would they be and why? Please be as detailed as possible.

A side question for the fellow Warriors: Do Facebook likes help your SEO or do they just help other aspects of internet marketing? Main keywords in your domain and H1 header title seem to be the easiest way to get ranked, and are also pretty efficient. Any other tricks? Go crazy and think freely please.

    A simple answer here.
    I wouldn't automation = spam and no real work put in means no real profit come out.
    The more you spam the more the spam gets known the more you are going to suffer in the search engines for doing it. Create unique ways that take little time like posting n Reddit with a great news story promote that story on Reddit to the email list and if it starts moving up you will see a heavy traffic flow from Reddit which = strong backlink / social signal = higher rankings in search engines.

    That is just my 2 cents though.

    My biggest two things that I wish were automated would be backlink building and content creation. The main reason is because these two things are usually high in time consumption. At the same time, as others have mentioned in this thread, automation can usually be spammy and hurt you more than help. With that in mind, I have no problem working on the those 2 tasks because then I know there shouldn't be any spam or penalty issues.

    ^ True, but if I didn't enjoy creating my own content and doing my own link building, I would just quit and do something else.
    You can hire someone to create content for you, but it's not the same, you'd have to keep an eye on them anyway.
